

Since its inception in November
2001, Strowd Roses has given away more than 559 grants
totaling $3.9 million to over 231 different programs in the
Chapel Hill and Carrboro communities. Some 53% of these
grants have gone to support education- or child
welfare-related projects, with the balance for other social
welfare programs, health care, the arts, special services
for Latino and senior citizens, recreation and the
environment.
