Since its inception in November 2001, Strowd Roses has given away more than 500 grants totaling $3.68 million to over 200 different programs in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro communities. Some 53% of these grants have gone to support education- or child welfare-related projects, with the balance for other social welfare programs, health care, the arts, special services for Latino and senior citizens, recreation and the environment.  To view the recipients of the previous rounds of grants see the list below:
