Strowd Roses, Inc. is the only foundation that awards grants to nonprofits specifically for the betterment of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community. Strowd Roses helps local people address local needs.

Donations to Strowd Roses serve a broad spectrum of sectors and populations such as animals, arts and culture, education and literacy, the environment, housing, health, immigrants, seniors, and youth as well as the maintenance and care of the Gene Strowd Community Rose Garden. Contributions to Strowd Roses are managed at the exclusive discretion of the board.
